THATS A LOT OF $50 FOR A WEEKEND IN SAN JOSE. AND THEN SOME.
Just got back from Fanime '08. Great shit this year. I had fun. Lots of fun. Aside from being with Shin as always, I met up with some RO friends, one coming in from Vegas to see us all. <3 HARDCORE LOVE SUICIDE GATHERING POW. :>
My cosplay was umm... "showy" this year. ...Very showy. I don't know the word. I was this: http://download.minitokyo.net/194212/ But just barely. Parts of it fell to pieces before and after I wore it. It was embarrassing to tell people what I was from... and it still is. .__. I wore a sarong to cover myself up every once in a while, and I'm really glad I brought that. My friend Kirawr had it pretty bad as Rikku too. But we were cute. We're always cute. We got stares. And our pictures taken a lot. Sometimes unknowingly. :( But we also had 4 guy bodyguards that almost didn't know how to do it. /pif
We bought a dress for Shu in the artist alley one day. He is extremely small and dresses fit too well on him. And his hair is girlier than my boyfriend's. :)
Somehow I ended up dancing/stripping on Stage 0. The guy I went up against was good. Real good, he won, and I'm happy he did. :) Felt bad though, when Miku, a girl I just met right then, was asked to leave (and given consolation prize) so that the other guy and me could have a second dance off. I sucked hard ass. :> But I had fun. I was almost toted off by announcer guy, and got to announce to the world that I am FUCKING 18. :> Mr. Talkie guy didn't believe me. :( Shin also got the chance to show off on stage. His way. :) Some friend of the MC was gonna break, so Shin headed up to battle him and won. :> Quite remarkably I'd say, the guy was good. My baby just knows how to get points with the crowd. :D Glad you got the chance to do that though sweetie. We also got Shu to dance in his dress. And it was awesome. I was cracking up when the MC asked the audience "Would you really pick... this [crossdressing Shu] over these hips?" He was up against a songstress cosplayer with shaky hips. And he won. :D
I hardly went to any panels or video rooms this year. I did stop by the Hentai and Yaoi room because I can. 8) It was actually pretty fun, the reactions and random outbursts were funny. The Yaoi room on the other hand was really dull. 5 minutes and no buttsex. =/ Fucking yaoi plots.
Met up with a lot of friends, and had us all get together for a quick fooding on Sunday. I asked Ceasar, Nilo, and Richard to join us and it was sweet. Kirawr left, so I was the only girl though. :<
I didn't go to see those An Cafe guys. I'm not really into them. But Sunday morning, me and shin had breakfast at this cafe by the Fairmont, and the lead singer was in there with I think his manager. She looked like his mom. :P Me and Shin both agree, so I can say this: he was damn cute. He looked generically asian shy and timid and lost and stuff. I got a quick smile :> I wanted to take a pic, but that woulda felt rude. I also walked out wanting to say "good luck" or something or other, but I skipped out on that too. Oh well. I got a smile! FUCK YOU.
I ended up posing for pictures for some guy because apparently he "admired" me. Ew. I do and I don't blame Shin though. He didn't realize what a creep the guy was being, like he was just trying to be "nice." Ew. I'm really glad the photoshoot turned into something fun rather than awkward though. Kirawr, Shu, and Shin had shoots too, so I was really happy about that.

Eesh, major lackage of updates @_@
I don't know why. But I'm enjoying my senior so fucking much. It might be the great movies I've been watching. It might be the self reflections I've been doing because of school. But really, things are great. I feel great. Maybe a little ehhhh on the side, but yeah. I'm good.
Because of film-lit and psychology, I've seen several great movies. One of the most recent ones we've watched is Billy Elliot, and god I fell in love with it. Such a beautiful fucking story. Another movie though... Me and You and Everyone We Know... fucking made me want to shoot myself D: FUCK. What the hell was going on in that movie. Freakin' "back and forth" and jimmy-hahas... AGH. O__O I regret falling asleep during Running on Empty. :( The ending caught me off guard because of that, and I still feel confused because of it wah. Seeing these films is making me appreciate it more. I thought movies were just another form of entertainment. I mean yeah, its entertaining - but seeing it as a story about life helps me understand things that much more.
((and Billy Elliot makes me wish I still took ballet and tap >__<))
Ok ok... Don't be all "wtf justine" I joined the Sex Squad at school and its pretty fun. It deals with learning about safe sex and other health related stuff. Its pretty cool, also considering I'm getting interested in Health Education as a major. I get to teach about condoms :D
If anyones wondering Angelo's good too. Its only a week or so away from 2 years, and I'm happy :3
and thats whats happening. o__o; I still play RO and stuff, but not as much... yet I still can't find the time to post. :O Still an 8x Aco and sexy to the core.

my RO provider has failed on me the for the last month and I have been MMO-less for a while. But Angelo found this fairly new game, Granado Espada (currently on open beta). And for the last 2 days, its all we've been doing. FOR THE LAST TWO DAYS. STRAIGHT
the gameplay is very interesting. though a little confusing to get used to commands/hotkeys. Instead of playing one silly little mushroom caek, you play a family and are allowed to have 3 characters in your... family party thing. You're allowed to make a few other characters to include as well as recruitable NPCs, but I find it difficult leaving one behind on the leveling. FIGHTING is craaazy fun. I play along with Angelo's characters though, so perhaps I'm getting off easy on this.
Graphics are... pretty cool. I'm not really a fan of full 3d environments, espcecially when they're laggy. bleh. but it looks pretty :D I guess it has a european... spanish... setting thing, so it was slightly awkward.
Character design is limited. Very limited. The most you can currently pick is the gender, class and an outfit specially designed for that class. Although there isn't much to choose from. There is however a place ingame to buy clothes and other accessories... if you have over 200k vis to spare :(
I like the different classes. There isn't much to choose from, but what they already have works excellently. I haven't tried using a wizard yet, and only leveled my elementalist a little, but what I have works for me /blahh
Poses. POSES are the greatest thing in this game, and I only say that as my personal (and Angelo's) opinion because we're idiots and slightly dirty and we think it looks cool.
Meh, so quests are a big part of this game. They're really fun to do, especially ones a little above your level. They are pretty time-consuming though, even just individually and theres plenty to do. They're barely worth doing though if you only want the reward. All you really get are exp cards. I WANT MONEH AND CLOTHES, AND MEBBEE SOME NEW POSES. MLEHAJF
I need to go back to RO though. I'm missing fun new things ;____;
